Our Work

Our research focuses on theory and applications related to control, modeling and perception of autonomous systems.

Here is a selection of ongoing work in the CoMPAS laboratory:

Underwater navigation is a challenge for underwater vehicles due to the lack of GPS or alternative solution for global localization. Using low cost sensors we look to improve the performance of localization developing novel algorithms for high-precision seafloor mapping. Our final goal is to help to reduce the end cost of underwater navigation and ultimately reduce costs of ocean exploration.
